Mark said "Cornielle MOTM for me, good performances by Ball, Curtis, Bradbook, Bodkin (1st half) and a few others".

Umm,funny how people see things differently.

Earlier it was said

"Only weak point is right back, where Corneille is getting outpaced and giving away fouls"

Great result-well done.

It should add at least 50 to saturdays gate v hendon which is also good news.

Not there-so can't comment on how they played-but midfield still looks so so weak to me.

Avery good defensively-and i guess bodkin gives some sort of outlet on the right;but surely that just left stubbs to run the whole of the centre of midfield.

It may have worked of sorts today-but it just does'nt seem right to me particularly against stronger sides.

I rate Curtis highly-but how did he perform on left side of midfield ?

If it all looked great and worked well-credit all round-but just can't fathom out myself why CK seems to have left us so short in midfield.

Started the trend end of last season with us not having any central midfield players and seems to continue -perhaps its the new way of playing-and you can't knock it when we win (and by sound of it-created quite a few chances;so maybe i am simply wrong.

I thought Curtis did a good job today, and could have nicked a goal or two. I didn't notice any weakness in midfield.

As for right back position, two others have praised him, and presumably Wellsie has interviewed the manager, so maybe I was a bit harsh on MC with my comment during the game. Just the way I saw it at the time.

Should have won 4-1. Put it this way, if we were outplayed at home the way Horsham were outplayed in the first half then people on here would be committing suicide. I think as a team we were higher up the pitch because every time they went forward they were offside.

Of course, they couldn't play as badly again second half and, with a half-time bollocking, they came at us in the second period. But a truly brilliant free-kick from Bradbrook won the game. Corneille and Curtis did really well but we looked really sharp and fit all over.

Before I get slated for my next statement (IM a Fat B/stard :) ) Fitness has been an issue for the last few seasons as we always seemed to falter after 70 or so minutes. Confidence seems to be flowing and TB also seems to be growing into his role as main striker. My only crit would be we do seem to be giving coronaries to our supporters, let me explain - we (team) currently dont finish teams off and make hard work for ourselves as a team by not going for the killer punch. Not putting any of their performances down cos Im impressed this season in our games so far (except Lowestoft) and I feel these guys havent got out of first gear yet bearing in mind they have only played 5 competitive games as a "TEAM". Gonna be a good season peeps mid table or top it dont matter....... loving it :)
