would you like to buy some Cove training kit I have fecking loads of it and it wasn't cheap I can tell you and its hardly been worn (ha ha) I thought you were the best player on the pitch by a mile yesterday,why the feck did they take you off,it seemed to give badshot the lift they needed and I thought they could easily have won but missed 3 really good chances,Chertsey are a good side but you know what I always say no team should carry pasengers and you had 3 yesterday.

as u know we had a centre half sent off so needed to make sure we were secure at the back. Brought on a defender so I had to come off unfortunately. Its just the way it goes mate. Really enjoyed the 1st half and we probably should have put the tie to bed with our possession and opportunities in and around the box. Our last 3 matches before yesterday we had scored 12 goals so it was bound to dry up soon. They changed formation from 4-4-2 to a 4-5-1 in the second half which took away all my space in midfield.

 

Just glad we won cos we were the better team and certainly deserved it although they did have some decent chances late on (after i came off ;) )

 

Thanks for the positive comments mate. Enjoying my footy and putting some good performances together which seems to be keeping me in the starting 11. Long may it continue. Trying to gather some (Cove) team banter and spirit within the Chertsey camp which is slowly but surely working especially with the fines. Some of the boys really havent got to grips with the left hand home drinking and right hand away drinking fines! £60 collected in 3 matches is looking good. The team spirit is certainly there now and i expect us to become very hard to beat and be a force within the Southern league central.

 

May go and watch Ash play away to Baggy lea on Tuesday night if you and Koo fancy it.

good game for DT to start as manager but im sure he is under no illusion that Mole Valley to date had played 6, won 0, lost 6, scored 8 and conceded 25. He knows it wont get easier than that. Nice to get off the mark with a 4-1 win.
