massive game for rpv, with an away game at carshalton athletic from the ryman prem awaiting the winners! should be a great game with faversham strugleing in the ryman south and rpv getting better with every game!

faversham also have a coach for supporters so with the home fans, expecting a good crowd for which should be a great game for the neutral!!

Probably have a coach for Players,Managers, and paying £10 a head supporters. But when they travel normally, come by Car.One of my F.A.Cup bugbears,£300 out the gate money already?

I'd say coaches are likely to benefit the home club more than cars in a lot of cases. Clubs can claim £3 a mile for a coach or £2 a mile if they come in five cars. At least with a coach there's more chance of more away supporters travelling which may cover the extra £1 a mile. Half the time in the early rounds the gate money doesn't cover the travel no matter how the players have travelled, bearing in mind the officials come first in the payment pecking order.

Yeah but 25 supporters paying £10 a head for seats lowers cost for travelling team to £50 from £300.Most Clubs would declare this of course.

I see what you're saying. You have a point but do you have to declare it? Genuine question cos I don't know the answer.

I would have thought it's one of those things that everyone accepts happens.

It's like trusting the attendance the home club gives out for FA games. I'm sure nearly all clubs are honest and truthful but the away team has the right to check if they want. I know we played a club once that sent someone around the ground to do a headcount. Can't remember which team it was. You can generally tell the attendances stated are about right at this level though.

It made me laugh last season when Farnborough 're-calculated' their attendance for a play off game and found another 902 people. It was said on various message boards on the day that the original declared attendance of 3365 was clearly wrong as the ground had an official capacity of around 4000 and was heaving. There were also people there that had been in higher declared attendances saying the ground was less packed at those games.

I'm sure this was just a one-off mistake by Farnborough though.

Anyway, back on topic. Away to Bognor on Saturday for us. Looking forward to it as it's a new ground for me, I'm not driving (getting on the coach assuming I get up in time) and there should be a decent crowd there (4-500?) so worth a few quid even if we lose. I don't fancy our chances much as Bognor are one of the better Isthmian 1 sides so I'd be happy with a draw. If we're in for another ten goal thriller I'll lay £100 that it won't be us scoring the majority of the goals this time!

VP indeed on paper it looks a tough consignment at Bognor Regis who are equal top of Ryman 1 South with Dulwich. They have WON all their games this season including friendlies bar their first which was against newly promoted Crawley Town.

Whilst they are not prolofic scorers, it appears that they are very tight at the back !

So is this a recipe for a 'Banana Skin' ............... Bognor may underestimate the CCL club how many times we seen that happen !!!

Good Luck VP it's a decent place to go...........enjoy your day !
