H.Wintney v Frimley Bank Hols Mon

Recommended Posts

I took my son to watch this one Mon so we could go down the M3 to Basingstoke later,

I have to say I enjoyed the football HW played and give credit to both thier players and staff alike when Frimley started playing up.

I think the Frimley players and Staff should hang their heads in shame, The goalkeeper was sent off for calling the ref a F#####g joke 3 times in a row to his face despite being yellow carded and warned then he stormed off the pitch screaming he never said anything I'm afraid young man you let yourself and your club down.

Then the manager who can not put a sentence together without swearing blamed the ref for the fact he cound not manage his way home on his own let alone a football club was sent to the stands shortly followed by his no 2, I have to say I think Frimley will have to have along hard look at the people in charge of footballing affairs otherwise relagation is on the cards.

I don't normally rant like this but I would like to see more young people at grass roots fooball with thier parents getting closer to players and managers, but let's be honest if you guy's out there as parents who have a choice where to go with you young footballing mad son's on a limited budget like me would it be off to watch Frimley and their fowl mouthed players and managment team who also lets be fair do not play nice if any football at all?

(Don't worry HW we will return to your club my son likes your orange kit and you try to play the game properly.)

I dare say I have opened myself up to be shot at by all the Frimley people/players/managment alike, but before you get on here shouting (which is something your good at) have a think first about how you portrayed yourselves on Mon, then when you have blamed the ref, the whether, the colour of your shirts or anything else you choose to blame look in the mirror and ask yourself a Q: Am I DOING MY BIT FOR GRASS ROOTS FOOTBALL???????

You must of done well to here the goalkeeper as most of the people in the ground didn't know what he got sent off for and then you must of run around the pitch to here what was going on by the bench.

How did you know who the manager was from the num 2 looks like a bit of something smelly going on.

I feel sure the referee was certainly close enough to hear the words spoken !

No excuse.

One of the hartney players said that the lino said that he said something to the ref and the ref said he said something to the lino.

Try and work that out

Frimley have played 5 and if you look at the teams they have played they will all be in the top 8 plus 3 of the 5 will be looking to challange very tough start but for a new side put together from scratch it will take time....I've never seen FERGIE swear at the REF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry Big Ant Smelly!! you'll have to explain?

FYI I was standing in front of the clubhouse roughly in line with the penalty area everyone there could hear what the keeper said, as for the managment the whole place could hear them and you are right i don't know which was the no1 and no2 if i assumed wrongly i have to say sorry but i do know they both went for swearing at the officals not good in front of women and children.

Tommo i do not know GK's name!

Weeble my son and I enjoyed the game thanks i feel Hamptons league position to be false and their football will move them up poss a game between two mid table sides, only my opinion!

I've never met Ant, but know who he is and from evidence of my last Feltham match over at the Green 10 days agao, he came across passionate and very hungry to suceed in his managerial role and does have a good side there that will cause people real problems!

We're due to play there in October, I look forward to actually meeting Ant for a handshake and and a drink after (we get the win :P ) the game B)

I also took in the Frimley v HW game on Monday and have to agree with Pele is God, the Frimley keeper and management should be ashamed, their behaviour and language was nothing less than disgraceful!!

I've been to almost every CCL ground over the past 2 years and I'm fully aware of what goes on and the abuse that match officials receive (some rightly deserved, but most the time needless and

uncalled for), but what I saw on Monday was the worst I've seen for many years. I do not know the Frimley Manager who i assume is Ant (????) and I'm sure he can be a nice guy, but his behaviour on Monday was shameful and I certainly won't be heading back over to Frimley in a hurry.

In terms if the football, HW were a class above and could have won by more in the end. I can see them challenging for promotion if they continue to play that kind of football week in and week out (easier said than done!!). As for Frimley......well based on this latest performance relegation beckons I feel, which is a shame as they have always put together decent teams in the past, but this latest one seems to lack any real quality, spirit or discipline and that can only come from those in charge I'm afraid.
