Winslow United aren’t going to have things all their own way in the competition this season, even if they manage to win at The 61 FC in the First Round a trip to Kent Athletic won’t be easy as they found out last Saturday

So Aston Clinton padbury and Totternhoe all away from home last year was all our own way was it???!!! You really are a tw#t! Not to mention battering 61fc in final.

Yes but Club's will have your number this season won't they, last term you were a 'new' Club and somewhat of an unknown quantity and also The 61 FC seem a lot stronger this season than they were last

Have you been to watch them then have you??? As for being unknown you yes YOU yourself installed us as favourites for the division last year "it's all over bar the shouting" as I recall, I think its fair to say teams knew what they were facing having played Totts 3 times beating them twice away, Aston 3 times beating them twice and Padbury 3 times and 61 FC 3 times beating them twice. How do you know whether the game was "easy" at Kent last week??? You weren't there....to quote you again we aren't even out of 1st gear.....lol. Just admit you say things that are ill informed and pointless and leave it at they eh douche???? where is that £20 going????

This is a walk-over not a bye.

A bye is when there is no opponent when the draw is made.

A walk-over is when the game is awarded because the opponent cannot fulfill the fixture.

An extract from a recent SSML newsletter:

DIVISION TWO CUP – FIRST ROUND

Pitstone & Ivinghoe, helped by a brace from Kieran Docherty, put their poor league performance behind them as enjoyed a 3-0 win away at high flying Mursley Utd, whilst Bletchley Town beat Kent Athletic 2-1, the winning goal coming in the 3rd minute of added on time from Ricky Stimpson – his second of the game. Also on the scoresheet with two goals was Alex Woodfine, whose pair helped Aston Clinton to 5-0 win away at MK Wanderers, whilst Hale Leys Utd completed the quartet of away wins as they returned from Caddington with a 3-1 victory Draw for the Quarter Finals is as follows:

Risboro Rangers v Aston Clinton, Hale Leys Utd w/o (MK City withdrew), Totternhoe v Pitstone & Ivinghoe and Bletchley Town v Winslow/The61 FC.

Ha ha good point. I've a feeling Bletchley might turn us over in the cup. We should have beaten them comfortably in league but........might be no bad thin if they do as we have some serious work to do in the league. Once we get our whole team that is missing back we will be dandy. Hats off to gaffer still getting a competitive side out for last few months I will stick my neck out and say not another team could have coped with the amount of1st choice players we have been missing
