Anyone from Frimley want to comment on their game today?

not much to say when you look at the result and I not going to get involved with the ifs and buts anyone at the game today would have seen how upset we all are and having a bite up on there is going to get me nowhere.

Worcester Park 4 CB Hounslow 0 ...some lovely football by WP , charming ground ...friendly people running the place and best ref of the season so far ..all in all an enjoyable visit ....pictures to follow !

 

I'm glad you enjoyed the experience of coming down 'The Park' to watch us in our first home game of the season. It was the best we have played so far this season and we showed what we can actually do when we are playing well and putting our chances away (finally!).

 

Looking forward to seeing the pictures and thanks for coming down!

RPV score, anyone? We were not good today, and missing a second half penalty did not help. That would have given us a 1-0 lead early in the second half. HV took their chances and we didn't. Hope we don't get this fixture next August cos last season we were poor as well and lost 1-3.

 

Can any Villan confirm your scorers?

 

Hi, Shaun Preddie with the first and Leeyon Pheelan (and I think Leeyon is how he spells it). What about the two fantastic saves, one from each keeper.

Firstly don't start mentioning Melt to NLN as he will only relate it to food and you'll get him all excited...............

 

I think that you are doing us a dis-service by stating that we are being lucky and getting the rub of the green. Whilst I would never claim that we are Barcelona, apart from the 1st game against Splethorne where they could have quite easily got a point, we have deserved to win all of the games that we have so far this season. We have won our 1st 5 league games, all away from home and have worked very hard to get what we have and deserve to be where we are. The only thing that pleases me more than our result today against a side that are going to be there or thereabouts, is the performance our lads put in. We had players out and others playing out of position which is always going to be the case at this level as you cannot control people when you are not paying any money, but today the lads that came in showed us that they want to keep their place by playing with the same work ethic, togetherness and quality that we have done in the previous 4 matches and got thier reward, a great result.

 

With regards to Panter, I think he was at Staines a while ago, but has also played at Uxbridge and Westfield and Ash last season. He was out of the game for quite a while with an injury and wasn't at his best last season, but he's done very well for us this season. Sadly he was missing today but should be back in the squad next week.

Sandhurst 2 0 Ash United.

 

2 decent goals for Sandhurst in a lively first half that they dominated. 2nd half was poor and was just full of constant moaning and whining at the referee who finally cautioned a player for dissent in the 85th min. Should have done it in the 5th minute !!! Plenty of players appealing for throws etc when they knew it wasnt theirs !!

 

Also thanks to the Sandhurst 7 who when it was pointed out that he really shouldnt use the C word in front of my 10 year old apologised instead of chucking some more in. Hopefully he will think better next time.

 

Thanks redrup for having the balls to say you are not good enough rather than blaming all and sundry. Perhaps there is hope for football yet.

Sandhurst wanted it more than us & deserved the win. Cracking 2nd goal by Sandhurst. Also totally correct with the moaning, god if they could play football as well as they moaned i wouldn't be doing paperwork in the ccl but in alot higher league

Great coverage Trs, looks like Badshot Lea are in for another average season, Great 4th goal by Farnham, I think they will do well this season, big strong outfit who all like to put in lots of effort.

Henry, NLN, there is not 1 excuse I can use today, we were simply terrible. Our squeaky captain has retired, first 10 mins we started ok, baxter had a clear chance to score but fired wide, if he scores then who knows. I dunno what to say, after a great win saturday, we then perform like that, its disgusting. Credit to westfield deserved everything they got. We created 2 chances. I would of said hi to ya both but weren't sure who u were. Brunty only player missing today. Well under par today, me aswell. Gutted but good thing is everyones dropping points instead of guernsey. The fight for 2nd and 3rd is on.

 

 

I forgot the chance early on, as you say if that goes in then it may be a very different game. I certainly was never getting to it if it had been on target.

 

We'll have a beer at the return game in January.
