Any truth in the rumour

The rumour mill is definitely in full swing at the moment!! Have heard various news today about players moving on, from Div 1 clubs to Premier and vice versa. Ash seem to be looking at 2 or 3 new players (any news aupostie??), and Cove are also looking to rebuild following confirmation of their new management team this week. In Div 1 I hear Knaphill are doing their usual and sticking in numerous 7 dayers, Westfield have at least 2 new signings to be revealed shortly and Lammas continue to add to their already over subscribed squad with yet more well known CCL players!

 

Did hear the rumour about a certain goalkeeper on the move in Div 1 but assume it won't become public knowledge until the transfer is done and dusted - dont think it will be a massive shock to most though.

 

Shame we don't have a CCL transfer deadline day!!!

Cheers Steve,this was a strange set of circumstances,after the club had pleaded with myself and Simon to stay at the club and help rebuild it,we both said we would help out pre-season but that was all,after the mass exodus of players to other clubs it was always going to be a long hard season,but whilst on holiday they in thier wisdom decided after 4 games thats enough and bought in the new lad,well good luck to him as i've said but we were not far away from a half decent team,still we'll never know now as they will probably not get a chance to prove it

 

All the best duncs, very harsh decision after so few games. I only saw the Dorking game and didn't recognise many faces so more or less a whole new team. In that game, if Cove had scored first they would have won it. Chicks only took control after scoring the first goal late on. Success and failure in football is a fine line....

 

Nevertheless, good luck to DT10 and the player merry-go-round will no doubt be off again. I don't know about all these competitions about predicting scores etc, why don't we start one about which players are going to be where the following week? ;)

DUNCS i know it must be raw, but when did they inform you, that you were sacked. please dont say it was when you where on holiday. coffee%20%282%29.gif

That would be bad, but better than coming home and finding out that he was sacked!!

I've just got back from Spain had a lovely time weather was great, food superb,late nights and lots of drinking I think I put on a stone in a week couldn't ask for anything better oh and then I got the sack from Cove,after 4 years and loads of good times the club have decided to give the job to DT10, well good luck mate I hope you get more than 4 games to get Cove to a league winning position,I'm now a member of the Nice Guy club and nobody wants me either.

 

Ha ha welcome to my club Duncs ! Now wasn't you who took the p*ss out of me cos I didn't have a job or did I want a job..............always remember, what goes round Uncle Fester..............now where's that gun................lol !

 

Oh yeah, make sure you take your cones with you !

 

Good luck for the future.........oh and don't forget your wig either...........lol !!!

Newby marvel seen at lammas for possible loan move!

IS there such a thing as a loan, between 2 teams in same league. ie CCL.

You can't loan. Most clubs would have a gentlemans agreement and cancel the players registration and re sign him when the time period is over. However most players loaned out don't tend to go back.
