Westfield Reserves 6-1 Lammas

1-1 at half time and Lammas were awful, 2nd half we were twice as awful, no excuses men against boys.

Must admit it is very frustrating managing Reserve football, my teams starting line up changed 8 times in 24 hours prior to the game. We even lost our centre back in the warm up, but no excuses, the players that started the game were very young but still should of done a lot better In the end we just gave up, which was the most disappointing thing for me.

We have Bedfont Sports on Tuesday which will be very difficult. One thing what was funny was there manager telling us how everybody hates Lammas, do we care. Lol!

Ellers with respect, ALL the players Lammas have recently signed, you should not have a problem picking a team..............lol !

Manors.....steves helping with the coaching at Molesey.

I wasn't there, but I believe molesey hit the post 5 times during the game,4 in the first half.

Moleskin every recent Molesey report keeps mentioning that your team keep hitting the post, so what's with your training methods ''hit the post challenge'' .....lol ! Was it a good game ? Sounds like the Moles could/should have had a handful of goals ?

Nice Guy, unfortunately we did not have any of the first team players in our squad, due to injuries, suspensions and holidays, so we had to play a team of youngsters 7 of them under 17 years of age. We then lost our captain in the warm up and our right midfielder came off after 25 minutes. Even so, the boys on the pitch can and have done a lot better for us in the past and I hope they will do better in the future.

Great result for our first team against Eversley, Westfield will be a tough game on Monday.

Great win for the sheers yday! Have WP lost a load of players from last year? Lost 3 now aint they?

Same side as last year Redders. We got an early goal and then solid defensive display with a few squeaky bum moments. We created a few more chances too. Exciting game and great result.

Not sure yet.

Transport from where I live is a problem on bank holidays.

I may pop down to 'The Bank'. Windsor unlikely !

I have up-dated the League Table on our web-site, for anyone who wants it:-

Feltham 0 v Westfield 2

Just was not at the races let down by a few players, 6 players missing today but no excuses on the day Westfield deserved there win on the day but I'm sure we will be a different animal in a couple of weeks

I think that in the end it was a well deserved victory however Feltham had their chances and, as they've shown already, will cause teams a lot of problems.

We were missing 4 regulars and lost our centre forward after 20 mins or so. I am a wee bit surprised that you say you had 6 missing, I was late in our dressing room (there's a lot of me to wash) and overheard your dressing room saying '2 players shouldn't make that much difference'. Maths doesn't seem a major strong point in Feltham.

Any how, you let yourself down today massively today Guv. One of our players was felled in a horrible 'tackle' by your skipper and you commented that 'he deserves it, he's been doing it all afternoon'. Well I can't see how he deserved 2 deep gashes on his leg from a complete thug. Yes our centre midfielders are niggly but I don't think you can complain when the 2 was lucky to stay on, as was the 8. If he'd been 'doing it all afternoon' it must have been like a scene from Saving Private Ryan in your dressing room.

Poor game today, never side that great, but we roll on. Now more players missing Monday against a strong Staines side but with our tails up let's hope we can nick a point. Hopefully a better game than today

I can confirm there was 6 players missing. It was almost a completely different back line.

You should also ignore things said on the pitch during a game, as adrenaline and mind games overrule what you'd usually say.

Saying that I agree it was a robust challenge, and slip was lucky to stay on. Although I personally would not want him to lose that bite, in future matches as long as it's within the limits of the law

Fair enough, we are in a very similar position tomorrow so I hope a few of the SL players are out drinking tonight!

I've got no problen in players winding each other up but he knows better than that. He's experienced enough not to come out with rubbish like that and if he's not he should have no part in running a team. Every team needs players to put their foot in and, other than that challenge, I had no issue with him putting himself about. Just thought that one was very naughty

Henry I take it your the goalie, so you don't know what's goes in the centre of the park verbal clashes, what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch, and how you put it is wrong anyway not bothered you deserved your win narrowly but the calibre of players that we had missing was of a better standard than your fact, we will see who finished higher the gloves are off now...Feltham for promotion

I bow to your superior knowledge however I couldn't care less if you feel that 'what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch'. Saying someone deserved 6 studs raked down their shin is complete nonsense. No-one deserves a cowardly attack and it just shows the measure of you that you think it's ok.

What I am impressed by is your in depth knowledge of our squad. You know that it is a 'fact' that your missing players are better than ours so can only imagine that you did some extremely thorough research into our team before the game.

Out of interest you claim that how I put it is wrong... please enlighten me.

It wasn't a cowardly tackle just very firm this player had pushed his hands in the face of one our players earlier but it happens you just gotta get on with it Henry like Dom said alot is heat of the moment, hope your player recovers he walked off fine so assume it wasnt bad, good luck for the season
