Just Read the report on the Hoddesdon website of their game against Amersham Town on saturday, why is it that teams have to make excuses for losing, why cant they just admit they were beaten by the better team on the day. I would suggest whoever writes their reports goes to specsavers as they only seem able to see things with one eye!!

 

Amersham caught the visitors cold and put them away convincingly, OK Hoddesdon made a comeback in the 2nd half but by no means did they deserve anything from the game, as for the chances count 7/28 I really must have been at a different game!!

This has always been the case with the Hoddy reports, even the Hoddy players find them amusing.

 

Usually someone at the game will make notes which are then written up by someone else with a bit of artistic licence!
