New Chairman at Stony Stratford

Recommended Posts

I have been informed by a reliable source (not Rhodes) that ex-Padbury Chairman Phil Smith has taken over at Stony Stratford, replacing Rob Fisher.

Fisher though will remain at the club and together with Phil will continue working hard to improve the club all round.

Update...

I have since been informed that Phil Smith HAS not taken over, discussions have been made but no final decision from either party has been reached.

I apologise to Phil, Rob and Stony if my original post caused any offence.

Right thats interesting, I thought he was done with it all. Can't fault a guy who loves his footy and is prepared to put serious money in at this level. He will need to spend serious just to keep them up based on facilities, good luck to him though.
