Bookham 0-2 VCD Athletic

 

Bookham failed to win in the FA Cup yet again (Think thats 5 season running) with goals in the 81st & 87mins giving the Kent league opponents victory.

 

Another good performance from Bookham matching their higher league opponents for long periods in a game of few chances, VCD where the team pressuring but the Bookham midfield & defence held strong, The home side had probably the 2 best chances just after half time with the keeper making a great save & hitting the crossbar shortly afterwards. Sadly VCD got the winner with a mis-hit strike & then a poor clearance lead to the second.

Thats true.

 

Bar takings tend to be lower on Bookham Home games, and I usually attend them as well !
