A Lesson to be learnt.

I am very suprised that neither Knaphill or Warlingham have commented on their great Guernsey experience,on their websites.Has anyone had any feedback from them regards Parking at Gatwick/Horley,what happens when you reach Guernsey,is it direct to the Ground from Guernsey Airport,or are you taken to the Hotel,to relax for a few hours.Did they encounter any pitfalls,that may help others prepare for the Journey.I am sure the hospitality afforded by Guernsey is First Class,as they are a very well run outfit.Please mark our cards as if you had won,I am sure we would of had reams of information.Just my view so please do not jump down my throat.Or are some Clubs insular to one another?DT10 proved this is not the case by E-Mailing Redrup2 regards Thame Utd.

Morning smudgey on our website the chairman put a brief report on there,the all experience of going out there was pukka even tho I couldn't play we met at club at 6 am arrived at guernsey 9-30 am then was met by guernsey officials and taken to the ground by a bus.on arrival at the ground we was taken too the clubhouse around 10 am and relaxed there watching soccer am on the big screen,at 12 there was pasta for the team then 1-30 headed to the changing rooms IMO travelling there the same day as the match takes alot out of you as there's alot of waiting around no excuses for the result as guernsey were different gravy

As for the parking when we arrived back at gatwick jack Higgins car had been scratched up so wasn't impressed by that

Cheers Gilesy,hows your leg by the way.Warlingham presumably being the well organized Club they are, laid on a Coach/Minibus to Gatwick?Eating Pasta is that normal?What time did you check into the Hotel?Whats the night life like,where things dear etc.

I think it's coming on go back Thursday for another examination and cast off fingers crossed ,we had 6 spaces at gatwick hilton so we Drove to gatwick as it's just down the road,as for the food I personally don't eat that close to a game I would normally have something light around 10 am but as I was injured took advantage of the food lol hotel was decent apart from we drunk them out of carlsberg and vodka and that was by 10pm.nightlife was good it's what u make it IMO we had a great crack and hopefully I get a chance to play there again next season was similar prices to here I think
