Told you so !

It had to happen.

As Churchill, that bloomin' insurance dog answered when asked if he covered football games....

"Oh, No, No, No, No !!"

Hmm, sounds a bit ominous. Maybe the FA could pay out fine money to people on the receiving end of red card offences for violent conduct? If they agree to accept it, then they rule out legal compensation - just a thought as otherwise this issues could get nastier and nastier.

I read all about this in the 'Mail', Bom.

About time too !

All we need now, is for looters and rioters to get 'Life', and we may just start to get this country back on track !

All we need is to get the feckin Daily Mail shut down and this country will be back on track. Full of whining middle-class wannabe twats. All they do is slate the country and talk about the 'good old days' conveniently forgetting the looting that went on during the blitz, the rioting and mass civil disobedience of Victorian times and the years shortly after, the gang warfare of the 1950's etc. etc.

The Daily Mail constantly slates this country. Why don't they do the decent thing and feck off abroad somewhere leaving those of us who love our country in peace without having to listen to their whinging right-wing drivel all the time?

Anyway, back on topic - I was talking to our secretary about this today and he says Surrey FA has a scheme which covers player to player injury. He thought it was mandatory, much as Public Liability Insurance is and is surprised other county FA's don't make it compulsory.

Dont want to be a killjoy either lads but when I was injured whilst playing a few years ago my employer refused to give me sick pay as they found out i did it whilst playing football, apparently it is self inflicted so that means you don't qualify for sick pay,so even if you are employed it doesn't mean your company has to pay you.

Strangely enough, some hospitals will keep moving sports injuries to the back of the queue in A & E, (if not serious), as they also deem them not accidental.

most insurances are only realiseed if you are actually admitted to hospital if you only go to A and E then you can't claim, please make sure you read the small print as you will think you are covered but when it comes to a claim you will find the insurers will not pay up.
