What turns you on in a bird??

 

For me, apart from the obvious ("big tits", "nice hair" etc.), I have to say it's neat handwriting.

 

I remember once there was this bird I really fancied for ages. Couldn't get her off my mind. And then I saw her handwriting.

 

It was so scruffy and barely legible, and I immediately lost interest.

 

She's probably still kicking herself now that she never learnt to write to a better standard than a blind chimp.

Apparently the messier a persons handwriting, the more intelligent they are. Or so I've heard.

 

I know your talking about girls here, but I'm sure you can relate when I say someone's taste in music is highly important. Take my ex for example. At first I really liked him because he was into Oasis etc. But then I found out he liked Starsailor. Things weree never the same again.

 

Actually, I've discovered over the years that many people have odd dating rules. I once knew a girl who said any bloke she went out with who didn't like Star Wars always turned out to be a plonker. So she only goes out with people who like Star Wars. Bizarre!

Chubbster - agree with you entirely on the music thing. Impossible to take a bird seriously if she likes charty-dance-around-yer-handbag-at-Batchwood crap.

 

First date, it's far more important to see their CD collection than the inside of their bedroom. If it's full of Chart-Dance music compilations peppered with the odd David Gray and Coldplay, you must avoid as it's a dead giveaway that she's a) seriously thick, and seriously a slapper.

Never read Fever Pitch Zeal, so I'm afraid that's kind of gone over my head a bit!

 

I liked High Fidelity though. The main character is just the sort of bloke I usually end up with! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Fever Pitch is like a diary of an Arsenal fan from the mid-'60s to the late '80s. In the final chapter, Arsenal beat Liverpool on the last day of the season and win the championship.

 

It's hideous stuff and left me feeling completely gutted.

"Steaming Iin" was a better book of that time
