Frimley Green

Recommended Posts

Guernseys next opponents are Frimley Green. I see they finnished 5th from bottom last year.

Could the Frimley fans on here ( or other fans ) let us Guernsey fans on your expectations forthe season and what you think the result will be.

I hope we send out a full strength team next Saturday and put in a good away performance to prove the doubters wrong.

Never mind that nonsense. I saw what was written before the games at Hartley Wintney & Eversley on your club's forum. What the travelling fans need to know is the nearest pub that sells decent beer. In Frimley Green it's the Old Wheatsheaf which is two minutes walk from the ground towards the village green.

If you want something a bit more trendy (ie pretentious) with a younger clientele then keep walking for another couple of minutes until you see the pub just past the green called The Rose & Thistle. Not a bad pub either.

Any furthur local pub advice required, just ask!

Mate i took Frimley over at the start of the season and after watching you against hartney we will cause you some problems.

I think you top 3 are the best in the league and we will have to work very hard to stop them.

Are a lot of fans coming over for the 2 games

Frimley's results arent how they seem! Yes we beat them 3-1 Saturday, but they will upset a few teams. Had they taken chances Saturday in the first half it would've been different for us. Not like old 'direct' Frimley sides, this one plays footballand get in your face the moment you get the ball at your feet!

Good luck to both ;)
