Payment due before travel - see www.margate-fc.com for details. Unfortunately, there are no spare seats now available for the Wealdstone match. We will publicise availability (as we did last season) for future matches. Apologies or any disappointment caused.

Sounds like you'll bring a decent following down to Ruislip this Saturday. Any ideas on numbers ?

There's even the novelty of no engineering works on the Met Line for those coming by tube.

We've a first day of the season offer in the clubhouse. All draught pints at £2.50 a go. Will have Arsenal v Liverpool at 12.45 . And indeed Sunlan Newcassel for the early birds.

Has the potential to be a decent season for our clubs, with both expected to improve on last season.

See you Saturday.

When we first came into the Isthmian we had good away support but that has tailed off over the last couple of seasons in particular. Expect not much more than 50, Mark. Maybe a few more given it's the first game and the 'CK factor'. And do you remember what happened the last time our clubs met on the opening day?

er no... remind me

I thought the Met line was closed between Kings Cross and Baker Street???

ah, come on, does that bit count as the Met ? Actually i forgot you Kent boys come into London at St Pancras now. Still struggling to get my head around it. Apologies.

I do well to remember last week. Ah 92/93. I guess I was there. That would have been the relegation season at Vicarage Rd. That was truly awful and surely couldn't get any worse. Or so we thought. Then we went on to groundshare at Yeading.

According to the tfl journey planner the Baker St to Ruislip section fo the Met is working, which is quite a novelty. Appreciate you have to get to Baker St first. But the Central Line is always an alternative, as is the Piccadilly Line.
