I will never understand how or why Dave Rihoy does not play football for a living, Ross Allen is an outstanding quality player for Guernsey but Rihoy is unbelievable. Clubs a long way above the CCL Div 1 must be looking and Rihoy must be in a lot of discussions. I know that he is a carpet fitter but this must surely be only a waiting game until he is offered a contract by a league club. This lad is on fire, a regular 50 goal a season machine in Guernsey, already supplying a big percentage of assists this season for GFC. Rihoy is fully recognised as the Channel Islands best all round player, I hope that the CCL propels him into the places his talent deserves. Allen is class but Rihoy is exceptional

GG I believe I mentioned this (not Rihoy but Allen & Zico) in a previous thread but got shot down saying that they love and live in Guernsey so couldn't or wouldn't want to play on the UK mainland. Allen definitely can play in a higher league. I can't remember, is Rihoy Guernsey's winger ?

Whilst they could play higher I doubt they will. Quite content to play and live in Guernsey. Too much to lose by moving away.

Could, if given the chance. As I have only seen two teams in the CCL I can't comment too much on other players.
