I am reliably informed the Croydon v Sandhurst score was 0 -2, Danny Seward scoring both goals for Sandhurst.

Another quick goal for Jaydon Gibbs today. People need to be very alert against him in the first few minuets!

 

My mistake, first goal was actually scored by Corey Holder! I got it right at the time but by half time I'd forgotten who scored!

Cheers, just three results needed. Would especially like the Chessie Badshot one so we can see the whole league table. Did Badshot win or will Guildford have already opened up a gap?

 

 

Stop it Bommie. Watched Hanworth play the second 45 almost entirely in Guildfords half. Only one team time wasting with 20 to go. The season's not even started to get warm yet.

first half whitney were on top and 2.1 up. second half a rejuvienated spelthorne came out and completly dominated.spelthorne should off took all 3 points

3rd defeat for us in a tough opening run of games. Least we are consistent!!

 

Felt Molesey probably deserved the win overall, fairly even 1st half when both teams had chances to score more than 1 each. Had our captain stretchered off to hospital (no ankle break thank god, just tweaked ligaments) not long in to 2nd half and we were rubbish after that against a decent and well organised Molsey side. We've got a few boys well off the pace and out of their depth so need to make a few changes but is my own fault for not seeing it earlier. Early days yet though!

 

Great to catch up with Webby, Pete, Alan and Steve, top guys and wish them all the best for the season

Feltham 3 Bookham 1

 

With 9 players missing we had to dig deep into our squad which in all credit is very strong.

1st half we started brightly but against the run of play Bookham scored a great goal there striker smashing it into the top corner, we reacted quite brilliantly and with 10 minutes we were 2-1, 2nd half key moment was we cleared 1 off the line 2 minutes after the restart, the game was now scrapey but Bookham were pushing and this was there undoing as we caught them on the break to make it 3-1 late on.

South Park 1-1 Cove

 

Another disappointing result, for all our possession we lacked the cutting egde to break down a stuborn Cove defence. With Cove set up 4-5-1 it was plain to see they had come to hit us on the break and did so in the first half with a well taken chance. We huffed and puffed but couldnt find a way through in the first half. Second half was much the same, Cove happy to sit deep and soak it up. We got the goal our possession deserved from a deep free kick that Guscott got his head to. Park then got a chance to take all three points on 75 minutes when they were awarded a penalty for a trip, but Stone (Me) found his penalty well saved. Oh well least i got to shake Duncs hand after the game.

Sorry Molly didn't realise who you were,we were pleased with the point today I thought we defended really well,again not very pleased with the officials it seems as though we are having to play against them as well,Vito Narcisse scored our goal and Josh made a brilliant save from a well taken pen.We still got a long way to go but it was pleasing to see some of our youngsters learning the art of looking after themselves and not always being the ones who are knocked off the ball so easily.

I know you do baldy, but personally I don't think JOINT managers work and is rare nowadays irrespective, all the best in what I believe is going to be a tough season for Cove but make it enjoyable.......
