Ladies, Gentlemen & forum posters....this is my first ever post.

 

Firstly good luck to everyone during the 2011/2012 season, our campaign at Westfield FC Reserves begins today, and I have much excitement for the new season.

 

Secondly, below I have attached a link to a video some of you may be interested in viewing. My younger brother, Mark Knight at 16/17years of age scored 39 league goals for Cobham FC in the Premier division during the 05/06 & 06/07 campaigns, after which he departed for the USA to embark on a scholarship opportunity.

 

Mark spent two years in Santa Barbara before moving across to University of Louisville, Kentucky. He has enjoyed huge success individually and collectively with his Soccer Team ;-) over the past 5 years he has been away. His University play in the NCAA Division 1, and came runners up in the National Finals last year.

 

Mark is going into his final season of his scholarship and will soon be out in the big wide world looking for a club. Who knows what level he may get an opportunity at?! As for you guys, I thought you may enjoy the view of a young lad (still only 23!), who learnt his trade in the CCL.

Just thought being an ex CCL player, I'd upload it on the forum for all to see. We certainly hope Mark gets an opportunity, as he would certainly like to test himself at the highest possible level he can.

 

I suppose we'll just wait an see what happens!
