Never saw that one coming !

 

Good luck to Overland-has a bigger phycsical presence than Smelt which is important.

 

Like the official site says-Smelt was excellent for Cray in that awful loss away to Cray two seasnos ago,and i remember then a few postings suggesting that Margate ought ot have had him in goal-so if a stop gap-seems a cracking piece of work by CK.

(and nice of ramsgate who on the surface appear to have let it happen without tooo much fuss

A 7 day approach says he was not on contract at Ramsgate so it was in their interest to let him go quickly if that's what was ging to happen so they can recruit a replacement keeper. Pragmatic rather than "nice" perhaps."
