Don't slate other teams like Burnham who are a team of kids and have done pretty well so far. Not like your team of misfits, hasbeens and wannabes

Cleggy didn't slate Burnham and yes, you have had a good start to the season. no one thinks that any team is going to walk the ESL this season. It will go down to the wire. All Town fans have been saying is that after a poor start we have recovered and we will be in with a shout aat the end of the season.

Never seen Lee Smith in the top goal scorers chart of the ESL. Have a look at the list and see how many Baz boys feature.

Exactly, the return matcdh between Town and Bas will be far closer and really exciting. On the subject of Smith, if he develops a good relationship with the other new boy, Cooper then we will have a very strong attacking force.

Exactly. Smith and Cooper have only played together for one whole game, and parts of two others, but look really exciting.

 

As for the way we are playing, it's generally improving all the time, especially in the cup games, but we were poor against Stansted and took 80 minutes to break down a 10 man Barkingside.

 

I'm not moaning, just taking a "reality check", and as I say, on the whole we are steadily getting better. We have also had eight wins on the trot, only ending the run with a 0-1 defeat to a Ryman Prem side. What's more we have been hit by injuries and suspensions.

 

So I would certainly expext us to be in at the death.

good to see the league hotting up; good result for Baz; but they are only 1 point ahead; and we have a game in hand.

 

I'm sure Conc and Ilford will also be there at the run-in.

Ian Cooper may be out for sometime as the shoulder is still giving pain. I think Lee Smith will still form a good relationship with Billy Cove, who again has a differnet style but very effective! And Don't Forget Peter Ulatowski if he ever comes back from suspension.

I played with him at Pennant, he got 20+ goals that season. For his size he is not as physical as you would expect but he does get some goals. He was at East Thurrock last year.
