The best "attempts" at pronunciation I can recall date back to the 60's/70's and involve Martin Elguazabel and Faroukh Quraishi. I am sure that contemporary announcers were relieved that neither player stayed in the team for a particularly long time.

Looking at Twitter, Charlie Fanner will be playing for Holmer Green tomorrow. With our current squad number at 19 SB is looking to send some more players on loan or dual reg, which make sense.
