Tuesday v Brentwood

Recommended Posts

Does seem a bit silly to play it on a neutral ground tbh, would imagine a home game would of bought in extra revenue.Think someone is worried about the pitch being over used as I believe there are a couple of cup finals in the next couple of weeks being played on it although this time of year I wouldn't of thought it would do any harm, not a big fan of watching football at barking fc

Bob - the reason the match is at Barking FC is because Brentwood are playing all their pre-season home games at Barking - (don't know why, but I would guess that they are re-seeding their own pitch). Re-the bar at Barking - it is derelict and has been derelict for three or four years.

The only place open is in the corner of the ground. It is a very small hut which doubles up as tea room and boardroom. The last time I was there you could only get teas and cold drinks, and confectionary.

For me,with trouble in east ham, barking, ilford & Romford last night it would be a bit silly to play the game, especially at barking.

Although no police will be needed,if a player or two needed an ambulance then surely this would be using resources that may be needed elsewhere, especially around barking, although hopefully that wouldn't be as big a problem out our way
