IS THE CCL A FREE FORUM ?

Recommended Posts

totally free

Okay, thanks Ian, so one does not have to pay to be a member on this forum unless they wish to ? What advantage is there by becoming a member as opposed to being a non-member ?

N.G.no one has to pay to be a Member,I think the only difference a Gold Member has is seeing no adverts.Even the Chat Room is open to all now.

Okay thanks Smudgeyboy, so basically there is no advantage being a Gold Member as such, but the £5.00 GOLD membership is upto the poster whether they wish to contribute towards the maintenance of the site or not. ?

What do you mean running out Smudgeyboy, isn't the membership paid a LIFE membership ? No-one told me the membership had a time span ? Anyway, why renew it when there are no advantages......... !

It's annual and the main advantage is being free from ads. Makes it worth it to me.

Obviously Bommie you are welcome to your opinion, but being advert free is hardly any advantage altho' I do agree that the site has to ba maintained.

That is your choice.

Membership runs for 12 months for just £5.

Your contribution helps towards the costs of the server / site / software etc. Which is not cheap - for example this month I have to pay over $150 in renewal costs for software.

However I do not insist anyone spends a fiver if they do not want to.

Sure you get other advantages like no adverts but it will never be compulsory.

Other sites charge £10 - £30 a year, so £5 is a bargain ;)

Ian, I am glad you explained the workings for what a memebership entails, so now perhaps instead of requesting to renew EXISTING memberships, why don't other posters who utilise this forum pay up their £5.00 to help Ian maintain our site/forum and become a member ? I suggest one leaves the exisiting members alone, 'cos in my eyes they have already 'done their bit' for the site/forum ?

If possible, I'd like to see a list of members and non-members and ask why non-members will not pay their £5.00 which Ian explains is a bargain.

To view any invoices that you might have you can go to your client area at http://www.nonleague.co.uk/index.php?app=nexus&module=clients

Invoices are automatically generated a week or two before your memebrship expires.
