v South Park

I Just think to be fair,South Park were always going to give any side a tough game on the opening day, having been newly promoted and winning two cups last season. They look a well balanced side, play neat football and will be amongst the top teams in this division if yesterday was anything to go by.

Agree with Rother in that with better finishing from South Park,we could have suffered a heavy defeat yesterday. We didnt look at all threatening and played to deep in my opinion, but it is going to take quite a few matches under our belt yet to get into a balance, playing style etc etc.We had two newcomers in John Bardon and Yashwa Romeo who hadnt played in any pre-season games, lost Kyle to an early injury, then Ben Porter, and didnt begin with Ryan Parsons.

We are a bit short in a ball-winning midfielder and a decent striker with Ryan O'Toole and as Keith has said,he is still looking to bring one or two more in.

Its a long season lol.
