Overview of Rules

 

How the tables are calculated - 1 point for every place difference between what you predict & the actual League position for every team in the League (ie: you predict 15th place for a Team - if they are 15th = 0 points, 14th & 16th = 1 point. This is calculated for every team in the League after every game (except the first game of the season).

 

After 21 League games a second prediction is added and the two scores added.

 

If two players have same number of points then League position is determined by number of 'correct picks' (ie 0 pointers).

 

Prizes are awarded after 21 & 42 matches. Random Prizes are those donated for a specific 'event' , as specified by Donor.

Oops missed one - Return of the Benchwarmer offered a prize of £3 a goal scored in the AFC Hornchurch & Margate games to the wooden spoonist.

Bearing in mind the unofficial 'one prize per player' rule - I would suggest that prize goes to the lowest placed player after the second match between the two teams (currently 14th January).
