…just been having a dig around to see if I’ve got anything historical to offer as a prize so how about a Margate v Spurs programme from the 1973 FA Cup tie, complete with a pull-out (albeit slightly tatty) from the local press previewing the match.

 

& here is how it can be won

 

Game was played on 13^th January 1973 so maybe it could go to the (highest placed) person who has Margate’s position correct after the away game at Hornchurch on 14^th January 2012 ? Just the closest game to the anniversary.

the crowd was over 14 thousand incredible !!

I have news of another Prize - Big thanks to MICHAEL who has donated £4 a clean sheet.

Michael is, of course, well known on this forum for his 'don't concede the nil' philosophy. Recent interviews with CK reveal he too is a fan of 'don't concede the nil' too. He was recently quoted as saying "you start the game with 0 goals against, if you finish the game with 0 goals against you're guaranteed at least one point from the game".
