Went to the Ranch yesterday,and had a great day out,the pitch was decent,the crowd friendly and knowledgable,the Officials excellent(only 1 yellow) the game was played in the right spirit.Hanworth played some lovely Football,and where a well organised Team all over the Park,and ran out deserved 4-0 Winners.On this showing I think they will contend for the Title for sure.Have 2 great frontmen in Shennan and King who will cause Teams trouble.But the highlight for me was the Community spirit at the Club,Mums,Dads,Grandads,Children,all enjoying themselves and getting behind the Villians.You know that saying you wait ages for a BUSS and then 2 come along together,not at the Ranch,there are loads of them,from a little boy in his Chelsea No 7 shirt,to the Keeper,and low and behold the Manager.The post match hospitality was excellent,in every department for the visiting Croydon Committee,and Fans,we were made most welcome from the Villians Chairman,Manager down THANKS TO YOU ALL.Smudge was sent to UGLY Corner,where he fitted in well,with the locals,but unfortunately only came 2nd in the most ugliest person present,I was a little dissappointed as 1st prize was a pint,still never mind.

As for you only coming 2nd I was a bit surprised as well. You will be pleased to note that I have ordered an immediate internal enquiry as I have received reports of unusual betting patterns.

The only downside to the day was seeing that young lad injured in a Reserve game,then waiting 3 hrs for an Ambulance to arrive,hope he is o.k.Hope someone has made a Complaint to the Ambulance Service,A DISGRACE.

Hanworth always been the same. Pleased to see them doing so well. Used to have some great battles on the pitch when I managed Coney Hall and always fell out of their bar after a few pints. Good Luck to hanworth .. is phil coe still involved?

Had word this morning that he has broken his ankle. As we usually do in these cases we will put the collection buckets out in the club. We are also writing a letter to the ambulance service and keeping the strecher they left behind.

Smudge. South London, South West London and Surrey was in turmoil yesterday following numerous accidents (I am aware of four including the closure of the M25 and M23) and many ambulances were needed elsewhere I guess. I am sure they did their best?

Yep the staff, commitee people at The Branch makes you feel so welcome. Nice people abd a nice drink to boot !

Love them to bits,a great bunch of lads.Hanworth are better than dark horses,they have continued in the same vein of Form they finished last Season in,Promotion Contenders for sure.As for Croydon,Work in progress,no one was expecting them to get anything from yesterday's game,me included.Ask me after the next 2 games,when all will be clearer.
