Think it was a Wedding,or similar event that is hard for people to get out of.Family life does come before Football after all.

Correct Smudge...having been booked-up for circa 6 months, it was difficult one to manage with the family! I was gutted to have missed the trip and the occasion as you can imagine! However, having spoken to 4 or 5 of the lads since Saturday evening, It's obvious that 1 or 2 different players would have made no difference to the outcome.

Guenrsey's success this season is going to come down to how well they travel, particually mid-week, and how they deal with some of the more "interesting" pitches in the league! Still, none of the lads can see them dropping many points based on Saturday's performance.
Were the players happy with the arrangements and the welcome they received?

Smudge, didn't you say a while back something along the lines of that Knaphill are a well run outfit (true) and that going over on the Friday meant they had more time to prepare for the game etc, so that the travelling wouldn't have any effect on them?

Now, after the event (and the result!), you say that was the wrong option in your opinion.....make your mind up mate!

Smudge is anti Guernsey but he won't admit it. He twists his words and changes his mind just to suit his anti Guernsey ramblings.

The thread he started "good luck Knaphill" is one such anti Guernsey thread and changing his mind about Knaphills travel plans is another.

He has even critisised us for not having an OAP discount ! Its only £4 entry for goodness sake !

There are many more examples of his anti Guernsey stance but I can't be bothered to waste my time typing about them all. I'm sure all of you have noticed.

Chill out Trenty and also Diggity (no surprise u had a bite Tom). U got there didn't you so stop moaning. I would hope no wife's, girlfriends or children read this very much adult site! You

must have been hungry at that time of night! More sleep could have helped your boys Saturday!

Reckon the plane may crash on the way over :-)

Let's just hope none of our wives, girlfriends and children read this pathetic post Mr David Johnson. If you have children you should be ashamed of yourself! Take a look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself the question would you want that said about you and club and teammates?
