The travel and general hospitality we recieved from them was brilliant Smudge. Was greated at the airport and a coach there waiting to take us to the hotel. Hotel was great, then the coach picked us up to take us to the game in plenty of time. As it did for our flight home. Horrible flight out there though! Tiny plane which gave you a headache it was so noisy!

Lovely bit of food after the game too!

Les Rocquettes i think it was called. Was only 5 minutes from the ground. Was good to have a swim/jacuzzi/steam on saturday morning. Not that it helped our performance! haha

The Oak Bar at the Rocquettes does a mean Rack of Ribs! Try the Breda after the game if you're staying the saturday night.

On a more positive note, have to say fair play to the knaphill keeper. He was having a shocker but showed great character to pull off some quality saves, can't of been easy with the stick he was getting. As I said, chapeau fella.

He bit.....hard. Sprayed his water bottle at the fans behind the goal after the second went in.

Or even a match report from knaphill???

Their is a fair and honest report on their website to be fair to them, albeit it brief but courteous.

Thanks smudge

I am not sure if that was their normal back 4 or not, but Guernsey moved the ball very well, so it is very likely that most of the side were pretty tired by that point, were probably lacking a bit of shape due to this, and also that there was no pressure on the ball forward, which makes defending the ball in behind a lot more difficult. I thought generally their defence (and I would include the whole team's defensive work in this) held out as well as they could, and their captain (6) and RB (2) in particular acquitted themselves well.

Tired out?Only 44 mins and they are 5 nil down. They would of performed better in my opinion if they had gone out Saturday Morning. The adrenelin would of still been rushing by K.O.Instead cosied up in a hotel, swimming, sauna, jacuzzi, not the greatest prep for a game,in my opinion. Also and no disrespect to their keeper, they were lacking the best keeper in Div 1,Richard Shelley due to other committments.
