New Signings...

The club have signed Mark Graham from St Albans on a full time professional contract. Mark will be in the squad next saturday.

 

Mark is a very pacy right sided midfielder...(he wore No 7 against us on Tuesday)...

On another slighty more sour note..Sean Hankin is to leave the club after only one week...after agreeing to sign for us...playing for us and agreeing terms Sean was poached illegally by a conference club and it would seem that his hand shake with GC was not sufficient...we had not sent his contract into the FA ..its is still in GC briefcase awaiting Seans signature.......we had registered him and quite obviously the young man has a bit to learn about keeping his word...

just as well....loyalty is important on a football pitch and I understand the conference club in question will be reported to the FA on Monday...

 

No news yet on the two other GB/GC targets...we'll let you know soon as....

Mark Graham is a very talented player. He played for Canvey for a time last season but unfortunately he happened to have the best right wing back in the Ryman League in John Kennedy keeping him out of the team.

 

Mark is a good dribbler of the ball and very skillful. He'll be a good signing for Hornchurch.

Dissapointing about Hankin (wait until he plays against us next time). Can we not make an official complaint about the other club?

MG was previously an Aldershot and Billericay player so well known to GB. I ALSO NOTICED THIS............

Ollie Adedeji and Mark Graham were immediately released following their fight with each other during the away League game v Billericay Town on March 2nd 2002. Both players appealed against their punishment, but the Ryman League and the Football Association upheld the Club’s actions. Both players were deemed to be free agents and, therefore, commanded no fee.

He was sitting with a little boy in the second half and was writing notes all the way through the game. Very familiar face too????????

I wouldn't worry too much about the Adedeji/ Graham bust up.

They were both at Billericay together last season and there wasn't any problems.
