Here's one to get you talking on a fresh subject.

TV news last night. Egypt's ex-President, Mubarak, is put on trial, in his hospital bed, inside a cage.

Funny how these people suddenly get ill when faced with being brought to justice. I mean, it's all coincidental - right?

Libyan bombers, Shrien Dewani, etc etc. What a wheeze.

Loosely - For your information alleged Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset al-Megrahi has been riddled with cancer for some considerable time, Shrien Dewani is a nervous wreck following the murder of his beloved wife in South Africa on their honeymoon and Hosni Mubarak is 83 years old with a serious heart condition, you're not a very sympathetic individual are you!

I remember when Ernest Saunders led the Guinness hostile takeover of Distillers in the late 80s and was later sent to prison for fraud. After short time into his sentence he was diagnosed with pre senile dementia and was released from prison on compassionate grounds. Thankfully the great man made a miraculous recovery, and he is the only person ever to recover from this condition.

Unsurprisingly the doctor that made the diagnosis was allowed to carry on with his career, and many of us lost well payed jobs.

Coming back to Hosni Mubarak, in 1995 he was handed a prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Award presented by the Government of India on behalf of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) given to people for their outstanding contribution to the promotion of International understanding, goodwill and friendship among people of the World. Had Mubarak been such a monster he would not have been considered infact in the same year he managed to escape an assassination attempt at an African unity summit in Addis Ababa.

You continue to write tripe! What has managing to escape an assassination attempt got to do with being a good guy? Just means he escaped an assassination attempt!

I gather that Hosni Mubarak is close to death and an announcement is expected at any time, very sad!
