Bowers anger

Im still scratching my head as to why I recieved a load of abuse from the Bowers tunnel minder at the end of the game. As the Bowers team was coming off a comment was made by one of the Boro faithful at their no 5 and skipper to the effect of "you need to practice clearing the ball" in respect of his failed clearance which resulted in Clarkie's winner.

 

The no 5 (who was quite happy to take the p*$$ out of the Boro faithful at half time reacted badly threatening to kill us all. He had to be encouraged to walk away by one of the Bowers Officials. All I said was something like " he should be able to take a bit of banter seeing he was dishing it out earlier" when the guy minding the tunnel went beserk hurling abuse etc etc.

 

Seeing that we will be going back there soon, I though it wise to apologise to the guy for making him angry even though I didn't really do anything wrong. I think he sort of accepted it.

 

There is definalty a certain mentality about clubs from Estuary Essex.

Yes....I remember we had a run-in wth the 'mad tunnel minder' last season.

 

Apparently he took offence to a few comments,by two of 'Towns' more elderly fans,and procceded to lose the plot.

just to say eton manor played bowers wed night and no trouble at all,plenty of banter and all in good spirit manor played well and fully deserved there 3rd win in four games,and looking good.

I was sitting by the tunnel at Bowers on Wednesday night. And I agree all good banter and good spirited. Great win for the Manor.....
