Dorking continued their good pre-season build up with a comfortable home win against Sussex County League side Southwick,

 

Tt was'nt all easy going though, in fact Dorking went 1.0 down before they decided to wake up and control the game, the equaliser coming from Leroy Hyett and Craig Duffell giving the Chicks the lead to go in 2 - 1 up at the interval.

 

Second half goals from Tyrone Oliver and a brace for Martin Smith completed the scoring. Dorkings boss Pete Buckland continues to be happy with the teams performances, attitude and fitness level. He took the opportunity to have a look again at some players tonight and a total of 17 players featured, He has the happy situation of 20 good, committed footballers, all wanting to stake a claim for the first league game, what a difference twelve months can make, he said. ''Once again though so far so good, a happy camp, but the real test starts on Saturday in Raynes Park for our first league game'.
