Can anyone tell me what the parking is like at Leverstock Green? Their site says take public transport, sounds like not a lot of room.

There is parking inside the ground for quite a few cars - I've never had a problem getting a space inside - the neighbours object to parking outside.

Thanks HTCrew, you are correct. I guess when we play St Albans next week it will be a large gate for us so the car park in the ground may get full.

 

The public transport part is on the web site for two reasons. 1) It helps those that may travel by public transport. 2) Part of putting the stand up and getting planning permission when had to produce a travel plan for the Herts County Council. It was another stupid part of getting permission from everyone to get the stand put up and with the FA making us do it.

Everyone, thanks for the reply. I will be back in the UK from next Monday for a couple of weeks and was interested in the Leverstock Green vs Cheshunt game. Unless there are some juicy games near Cheshunt I can attend. Suggestions?

Met up with Brentwood Phil near Romford and after some hold ups on the Redbridge Roundabout made our way up the M11. A new ground for Phil and an interesting looking game between an Essex Senior League outfit and one in the Blus Square Conference North meeting in a Herts Senior Cup match.

The first half was mostly uneventful and the only incidents worth remembering were the two goals scored. Was 1-1 at the interval.

The second half was a complete contrast to the first in terms of entertainment. Stortford made their mark on the match and mostly dominated. Four goals (including two penalties) saw them safely through to the next round of this competition.A late consolation penalty kick goal could only make the final scoreline look a bit more respectable for the home side.

Mr Clifford is in very high demand and cannot spread himself too thin although he will be pleased to hear that they are having pictures of him at Oxney Jets. I have been asking for a signed memorybilia of the Great Clement Temile but have heard nothing but I would be very pleased to have a poster of Mr Clifford if he could sign one.
