Whose next to be signed-if any ?

I look at that 14 man squad and see reasonable quality/;balance and cover in all positions.

Can we operate with a really small squad-and thus save some money 9assuming there may be just a bit more available for a couple of players

IMO -no desperate need for anyone else-but realisticallly-with suspensions and ineviatable injuries-i guess it is 2/3 players light-so i guess we can expect more;especiall as perhaps more of the reserves have migrated to ramsgate leaving us a bit devoid of 'junior back-up' ?

I see any further signings as a bonus as opposed to a necessity though-and what happens -happens.

I think there are a few hoping to see perhaps white and quain taken on.Fine if they do-but not end of world if they don't.

Personally-i'd be pleased to see Friend confirmed-but again-not a disaster if it does not work out

Defence looks real quality, and midfield set up nicely-maybe not so much quality-but good enough as there is reaonable quality/all importanmt quanitity (wayne won't have to do it all on his own).

If defence and midfield perform-we only need one goal a game to win every game ;so fairly relaxed about the attack.

Good enough for mid-table i reckon.

If the club really want tro press on to top 8 and above- iwould say it needs one more very high quality midfield player.

Is there in fact a` case for endeavouring to get a 'stellar signing on a 3 moth loan-that helps give you a good start to the season, ensure the player can play in cup games-it gives you an improved chance of progresssing in the cup games-and getting money in;then mid november your stellar signing ends his loan;but has done his work-helping you make a good start and made some cup money;and is off the wage bill by time we are out of the cups.

Come what may- even though we have 14 signed players,as always seems the case -there will yet be a couple of surprises-usually one player signed-decides its not for him-and disappointingly leaves suddenly-but equally-there is a late signing of someone who never appeared in any trial.

I suppose if it is a 3 moth loan we would need to have the away goal well lit at all times!

I am excited too, GT.

Here's another reason: I moved into exile for the 94 season, after enduring the Thanet United years. Coincidentally, I then moved back upon our return to HDP. If anyone could be @rsed to plot a graph of our ups and downs, along with my season ticket years, they would see that my non-season ticket holding years are dire years. My seasons in exile were the halcyon years.

Due to a change in personal circumstances, I will not be a season ticket holder again this year.

I expect us to be confirmed champions shortly after our appearance in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup.....

Im excited too GT, not just about the team but the new ground too.

CK seems to have done a fantastic job so far in assembling a strong squad.
