yep-pleased with this one.

In fairness-i've only seen him play 45 mins-but its no different to a car (or a woman ) you know if you like them after 30 seconds and the 'first touch' !

I don't see him as a world beater-and the player himself would probably agree -but he brings balance to the midfield and some steel to the midfield. You need a defensive midfield player-and i just liked the way it kept it simple.

Just do the basics well, and hopefully the likes of wilson ,stubbs and coleman will benefit as they can be a bit more creative

Must also admire the way CK has built his squad-lots of balance/cover in all positions and options in all positions.

I still have memories of those awful Trott days when just to prove he could do something-he signed 6 wide right sided midfield players-and there were 11 players in a sqaud of 16 who could play 'wide right'.What a numpty and waste of resources.However-he should have been better managed by the club -rather than allowed to do that.

Best wishes to Avery in his new career at MFC.

And for the most part, playing entertaining football. Adn now I think about it, one of the best left sides I recall - Skinner and Jackson.

I believe we missed out not because of Trotty but the fact we had a lot of postponed matches meaning players got tired, injured etc so not at their best IMO.

Anyways thats history now, we have CK!!!!
