No grudges, they're what South Africans keep their cars in!

Its son of EFC versus EFC(father). A more keenly fought match from a ETFC point of view one probably will not find though! If EFC want to send the kids so they can save the face of their first team manager that is their internal politics. The only way they will retain any respect in the borough from which they once came is playing their first team in a fair and keenly fought match.

Southport - What time are choir rehearsals? Big bass section need some tenors though (three will do).

You ask for an original song. How about this one sung to the traditional tune!

Men of Town

1. Men of Town play on to glory,

Victory is hov'ring o'er ye,

Bright-eyed freedom stands before ye,

Hear ye not her fans?

At their sloth Town seems to wonder;

Rend the opposition asunder,

Let the fans-cry's deaf'ning thunder

Every foe appal.

Echoes loudly waking,

Brimsdown and Lea Valley shaking;

'Till the sound spreads wide around,

The Oppositions courage breaking;

Clubs in every league assailing,

Forward press with heart unfailing,

'Till opposition learn defending,

Town will ne'er yield!

2. Thou, who noble Enfield wrongest,

Know that Towns cause is strongest,

Freedom's courage lasts the longest,

Ending but with demise!

Town countless hosts can scatter,

Town strikers will score and shatter,

Town defence walls can batter,

Luck is in her breath.

See, they now are fleeing!

Even when fans not their seeing!

Town might hath triumph'd right,

Our pitch to opposition denying;

Upon this pitch we sought them,

Love of trophies hither brought them,

But this lesson we have taught them,

"Town will ne'er yield!"

All this about putting the Reserves out against you Townies is a load of rubbish.

Wait and see on the night what team Terry puts out.

The under 17s look a good side mixed with the 18's that could make for a good game.

I myself favour a Supporters Team.

There are a few boys in the Brimo Sunday side that would love to give you a game we could sign them up.
