Would be nice to see J T back , but Simon, although not having much to do,behind a squeakey tiight back four,, has looked the real deal as the last line of defense for the Gate!!

trouble with being a goalkeeper is that whereas others have someone behind them to cover the keeper is literally the last line of defence - any mistake is fatal.

Inevitable he'll make the odd terrible mistake-but in greater proportion-i'm sure he'll make some stupendous match winning saves.

 

Can accept the clangers-but what i can't accept-even at this level-is sloppiness inback passing/mine/yours schoolboy stuff/errors between defenders and keeper-uncertain who is taking responsibility.

 

There were abot 3/4 goals cxonceded last season because of stupidness between defenders and Turner.

 

Mistakes happen-but that sort of thing is unecessary-even at this level-and trust CK and JL will get it sorted and there will be no goals conceded because of hesitation/uncertainty-stupid back passing between defence and keeper

When I've seen him play for other clubs in the past he has always seemed decent. Would question why he's had so many clubs though.

panic used to set in with Hayes supporters when he came for crosses but the delivery and pressure on hims are different in the conference. You could adopt the Hayes song we all follow our keeper over land and sea
