Coulsdon Town are hoping a change of Name and Manager will turnaround the Clubs fortunes and help them regain their spot in the Combined Counties League.Tim Moffatt took the reins of the Surrey Elite League outfit at the back end of last season,and enjoyed an excellent start as Coulsdon finished the Season strongly.Having recently reverted back to their original name following a few Seasons as Coulsdon United,Town aim to go one better this time around and seal promotion back to Combined Counties Division One.They continue their pre season on Sunday 31st July against Guernsey side Belgrave Wanderers at Netherne CASC,Woodplace Lane,Coulsdon.K.O.12PM ENTRANCE IS FREE and Town welcome all supporters to their newly refurbished Clubhouse. So if your free and need a footie fix,why not pop along,am sure you will get a great welcome.The hospitality at Coulsdon has always been first class.

If Belgrave Wanderers have taken their full squad you should see a few of the Guernsey FC players at this game today. Bels won the Guernsey first team league 2 years ago and although they lost a few players after that season and now they blow a bit hot and cold they are a decent side capable of putting on a display. Could be a good chance to see a few more GFC players that didnt travel to Horley last week

Coulsdon 3 v 1 Belgave Wanderers.A thoroughly enjoyable game, what nice people Guernsey folk are.They had been over for a long weekend,having played at Aldershot,then being guests of theirs at the game against Brentford.A team bonding exercise I was told,and to be honest it showed.Had a chat with Dave Rihoy,you know the one who shone at Horley(7),unfortunately he never shone today however,due to the heat maybe .Coulsdon have a tidy squad,who will do well in the Elite League.The Clubhouse had been decorated and improved throughout,was very impressed.Also spoke to the Belgrave President,who used to be involved with Merrow in the Combined Counties,Nice chap.
