Chris mentioned this idea in one of his recent interviews although not the specifics about which players and which clubs.

I'm all for dual registration to enable fringe squad members to get some first team experience elsewhere, but we shouldn't be afraid to recall them when the regular guys get a knock.

For example, last season we loaned Alex Waugh to Faversham, recognising first team appearances could be limited. However, when Shaun was injured before Christmas we recruited Andy White for a few games. Towards the end of the season when Shaun was unable to last the full 90 minutes we recruited Andrew Miller. In both those cases Alex would have been match fit through playing at Faversham - but we ignored him. Now he has been recruited by Maidstone, so a player spotted & signed from last seasons PSF's has gone on loan and developed for another team to benefit.

Dan Langiano needs first team football & should develop to be good enough to play regular first team football at Our Level, lets hope when he does so We are the team to benefit from his dual registration.

Agree wholeheartedly Peter.(especially re:waugh )

As long as Langiano has the application he should do well at sevenoaks -and then-hopefully in turn for margate FC.

Of the 'younger crop'-he was alongside Robinson(can't think of his first name ) the one who really impressed.

What is not clear from above is if Sherlock is on 'dual'-or whether he has severed links with margate.

Would be interesting to know-i suspect he has no continued link with margate-but perhaps someone knows different ?

Answering my own question-the article onwww.kentish football.co.uk does suggest that Aiden Sherlock has also signed on dual registration-therefore implying that he is a Margate player.

I hope that is the case-but why do i feel in sherlocks case that may be incorrect ?

Maybe MFC could confirm whether margate do in fact hold the controlling registration of both langaino and Sherlock
