Strikeforce One ?

I'm wondering whether CK intends to play a single striker or twin strikers ?

I reckon Bradbrook and Appiah combined would be a really potent joinnt strike force.

However -whilst early days still-and its all about experimenting at the moment-i note that CK has not really played them together.

It seems they can both operate as a single striker -and whilst i would prefer to see them combined-i am wondering whether CK intends to play a single striker in alot of games.

Where does Stone fit in then-to me-it looks like he will be an outlet in right midfield-as opposed to a striker.

Any views ?

Other may thnik we need another striker-but between those three-i reckon we have got enough cover-especially if CK intends to play a sole striker in many games .

In an absolute emergency-Craig cloke or Dan Stubbs could play up front anyway,so i reckon there is sufficient cover/competition

It would seem from the psf's that CK is favouring a 4-5-1 formation.with the striker being supported by fast wing play by Quain, Burchall and Bodkin.

Bradbrook and Appiah have yet to play together which is an intriguing approach by CK. If they continue to play apart in the remainder of psf's then the lone striker approach increases in likelihood. There couldl be a lot of quality on the bench this year and CK will need to keep everybody happy.

In saying that and it has been mainly against weaker opposition we look more dangerous going forward than last seasons 5-3-2 formation and hopefully is a factor in our impressive defensive record so far.
