regarding posters and banners advertising events on the side of the rd and on railings at round abouts. He says's its distracting to motorists and could cause accidents? Does flying around in a airplane towing a inflammatory banner not distract motorists attention or again is there a law for one and a law for another.

Although we put up some posters advertising our games on roundabouts and traffic lights a while back i have always thought that it could be dangerous as people do read things and while they are driving this tends to be dangerous!!!

It was becoming a bit of a problem at the Westwood Cross roundabout. where the traffic problems are bad enough without distractions.

I was driving away from Margate to the old Pearce signs roundabout when i heard CM on the radio. as i drove on to the roundabout what did i see, Thanet leisureforce / council workers, i thought that's quick action for once(quicker than when i complain about rubbish left by the bin men). I was wrong, they were putting up a sign to advertise an event on the railings. oh dear.

But as the hypocrite said on television last night if those wanting to advertise go through the proper channels then there is no problem and as we know Thanet Council always goes through the proper channels!!!!!!
