DORKING V MOLESEY BRIEF REPORT

Recommended Posts

A very good game at meadowbank tonight in the dave wilson trophy, both teams playing some very good football, at a very high tempo for the full ninety mins, dorking took the lead on 25 mins, and moles equalised from the spot on 36 mins. both teams pretty much cancelled each other out in the second half, but still a very good work out for both clubs, for what its worth it finished 1.1 and dorking won the penalty shoot out.good evening and steve and his boys all stayed for an hour afterwards for a drink, which is nice to see, all said and done it was a pre-season match, but nice to keep our momentum going. molesey will be there abouts at the end of the season thats for sure. bookham in the final at meadowbank saturday 4pm kick off, unfortunately doubles up with a long organised friendly away to arundel, still we shall split the squad and cope somehow!

Peter, play your best side against Bookham,a bit of silverware in the Trophy Cabinet, would be a nice start to the Season.Give B.J.R. something to protect when he is working in his Official Dorking role as Security Officer, rather than standing at the bar, downing pint after pint of Asaki.

ASAHI !!

I thought Asaki was A-bombed by the Yanks at the end of WWII, along with Herusharound !.

not that simple smudge, arundel were good weeks ago when i was struggling for "away" friendlies, i gave them my word i would take the first team down there, so thats what i will do!! just our luck though i must say.

And on that note, Arundel 2-2 Dorking FC.

Dorking were 1-0 down in the first half.

Went 2-0 down and came back to draw 2-2. Not bad at all.

Dorking FC 0-1 Bookham FC.

Bookham scored with minutes to go, then missed a penalty. A very good spirited performance by Dorking, composed mainly of our Under 18's. Henry Warne in goal for Dorking really impressed me.

More to follow later on both matches, hopefully.
