Racist Remarks?

Did anyone pick on some racist comments allegedly made to Paul Parker after the final whistle had blown and the fans were berating the referee? If so, this needs to be investigated to find out who it was so they can be kicked out of the club.

 

Have your say by all means, but by stooping that low, you're scum. If it is true, I hope they find who did it and ban them from the club.

Yes, there was definitely one. Don't know who it was aimed at, but I saw and heard him say it.

Yes apparently some were made which is totally unacceptable. Not too sure who it was though. In fact some of the comments at the end were pretty shocking. Some of our fans need to learn how to control themselves - saying that though some of the Welling players should have known better to react. Must heap praise on Paul Parker though who did not make a big deal about what was said.

Matt, can you let me know please so we can arrange action if required. Comments of any racist nature at any time or location should not be acceptable in any circumstances.

Definately one comment made and I stress ONE. I saw who said it but don't know them. Those attending the gate should be able to confirm this. Shame really as it detracts from the game and is frankly unacceptable.

No don't get me wrong it was an appalling thing to say. But it was just one person and I don't want all the supporters to get tarred with the same brush.

The thing is, I didn't hear it myself, but nobody reacted to it to call the bloke a stupid idiot for saying it. Not all our fans are angels by any means (as we proved today with a slightly within reason verbal lashing for the referee) but we should be clamping down on it when it happens rather than after.

People did react to it, but not nearly enough. A couple of people berated him for it, and the steward had a word, and Paul Parker responded to it himself, and then the guy who said it strangely went quiet. After the players went into the changing rooms, not much else was done.

It is an absolute disgrace. Just because they are bloody cheats is no reason to take the mickey out of people's skin colour.

I am no angel as I am sure most of you who heard my tirade against the referee will know but this bloke was wll out of order. Needless to say the club will take the necessary steps.

Didn't see or here any of that, but as you all agree should be banned for life...football doesn't need scum like that.

 

But come along RBNathan, a bit harsh suggesting we are 'bloody cheats'. I think you should direct your frustration at the standard of refereeing in the lower leagues.

I too heard what that idiot said to Paul Parker, no place for that, i'm sure many would recognise him and if anyone does see him at a Slough match again, they should report him and ban him for life. Luckily Parker dealt with it professionally as it could have got nasty.
