Coleman signs for Gate

Would also like to see young James Whyte signed up for squad too. Can see him coming of bench and make some telling passes through to the likes of Adrian Stone and Kwesi Appiah to run onto, similar to the ones he has already done in some of the games.

Welcome Liam..another great signing :applaus: As Alan has said, things are looking good..

And of course I agree about James Whyte too..may not be a midfield enforcer but playing off the striker in an attacking midfield role he looks very dangerous..he is Stubbs like in the way he never gives up and runs and chases everything down...Come on CK get him signed up

great news , I would like to see Adam Burchall signed as well , his forth outing for the club and he seems much more relaxed and comfortable on the ball now . Lasts nights game was the toughest test we have had and i think it would be fair to say his best contribution yet .

EVERYTHING IS LOOKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD .:futbolbud2: :excited: :welcome:

I must admit to being mildly surprised by this -but wish him well .

I guess its not his fault that whenever you saw a L.Coleman on the teamsheet it provoked immediate trepidation in the past.

Gives us a midfield then.

I imagine CK is envisaging it lining up with Stone as outlet on the right, wilson and stubbs in the middle and bodkin on the left ,with Coleman pushing everyone for their places. (a bit too attacking biased for me)

The only thing with that is there is no defensive holding midfield player.

I guess Hill can do that-but not really his best position-and would have liked Ricjhard Avery to have been signed as a defensive/holding midfield player.

You can't have everything though; and whilst its probsbly fair to say that midfield has'nt got quite the star quality of the defence-if they work hard for eaxh other-it'll be good enough for a mid table finish.

Do i recall correctly that if required Marc Corneille has in fact play in midfield in the past ?
