back to the Bowers result,from Canveys Secretary : 'Good work out for the squad last night with a number of first choice players not invloved or on the bench. Good to see Danny Curran get a run out also. We look forward to a tougher challenge against Southend on Saturday.'

 

 

they would probably have a 'tougher challenge' playing Basildon Town Ladies Reserves than that which they faced last night,dont know what exactly Canvey have learned from thrashing such lowly opposition.

apparentely bowers manager colin cook in the echo tomorrow talking about their match against Basildon United on august 10th,normally im a regular echo reader think i'll give it a miss tomorrow,the Bowers camp seem to be hyping this match up even more than in previous seasons.

& for me an away tie to Canvey would be a dream tie. Merce also played for Canvey in the 90's aswell.

you better hope for rain sydlexic otherwise Claptons pitch will be like a concrete dustbowl in three weeks,all four teams probably evenly matched and stansted,bees and APSA probably all with completely new squads.
