Just got in-great to read trhe very comprehensive twitter coverage.

i read that Overland came off after 17 mins-hopefully-not too bad an injury ?

The secret is to get through these friendlies injury free.

How did Richard Avery play tonight-very impressive for me last saturday-and would like to see him signed as a defensive midfield player

I think Overland wasnt injured Michael..the last few games he played 75 mins didnt he then Lamprell came on for 15 so I believe they changed it this time, played Overland for 15 and gave Lamprell 75..

Avery looked average to me..but only got about 28 mins..

Appiah looked very good, took his goal well after a lovely through ball by James Whyte

Clokes was an awesome volley..

Stone lobbed the keeper after a defensive mistake

Bradbrooks..through on goal and slotted past keeper (i think)..

Impressed with Hill, Appiah, Whyte, Bradbrook

Best bit was Stubbsy squaring up to someone..Im sure DEREK loved that!!!!!!dance%20(2).gif

First chance for me to see the players & was immediately impressed with Corneille & Whyte. Whyte looks like he could be a handful for opponents.Corneille looked solid, hard working & professional in his play. Avery I thought looked above average & I like O'Brien in that full back position also. Another to have caught my eye on tonights showing was "Stoney". Finally, I can't fault Liam Friends efforts either. He did good too.

CK has a dilemma here as to who to keep & who to discard. They are all pretty decent. Love the pace & the athleticism in this squad from what I saw in this game.

I wouldn't say we were championship material on the one viewing but if CK keeps the right ones from this bunch we will definately fair better or maybe even better than that than last season & that must be a plus. It's all looking very promising indeed but am not getting carried away with things with the latest results & performances against lesser opponents.Hopes are high though & its all looking very encouraging indeed.

The attendance was pretty decent too.
