Predictions for the Season in Div 1

I think Tik Tok have certainly surprised a few of us (except that one person with that vast fountain of knowledge). The guy Protein certainly knocking the goals in, personally I would have thought someone else would have snapped him up by now but according to my sources he is rumoured to be on £250 a week, which probably explains why no-one is interested in him.

 

Think the title looks set for one of four clubs, Cranfield, Ampthill, Tik Tok or Harpenden.

 

I will gladly settle for a mid-table finish for my club.

 

I dont think your sources are accurate then! He is playing with his mates, they had a Sunday team last year won whatever league they were in and all came together into Spartan 1 this year. He has played higher can easily play Ryman Prem or even higher but like a lot of players he has decided to stay with his mates and play. Unless their is a Sugar Daddy sponsor paying him but I know for certain the Tok Manor club are not paying any wages

am so glad we (Cranfield} are even being thought about in this topic. got to say harpenden ???? cant see it.

London Colney and Cockfosters would disagree...and Kings Langley seem to have come to life

 

played both and tik tok in 3 days beaten 2 and lost to Colney at theres the above mentioned being the better side than tik tok

its a long long season i think anything could happen . i do think all the top sides even us are beatable no one will win every game . or get even close to berkos record . as its my first season in div 1 and some of my players promotion would do me but lets see

 

mate well done today, i agree with your comment although i dont think tik tok or harpenden will stay up there , we have now played the top 6 teams and for me whatever team puts a quality 6 wins together wont be far away. Colney at home will always be tough but away different story. Cockfosters ? well we really should have been 4 up before we got mugged off 1 minute b4 half time. our keeper made a fantastic penalty save and then we showed some balls to come back and win, well desreved. good luck in the replay, when is it ??

It isn't luck that keeps Harpenden at the top. They have some very good players left over and some very decent additional ones, also a good underage system which sees their reserves top their division currently. They will have a sticky spell as will most teams. I predicted Kings Langley at the start of the season to win it. I wont change my mind :-)

thanks mate but trust me it was the worst feeling i have ever felt in football . we was 1.0 up from the 35th min then they scored 92nd min from a corner . and in the last min of extra time our 2 forwards went through 1 on 1 with keeper there players had head in hands and we missed . they are a very good side big and strong replay is tuesday night will be a good game

i agree Langley will be there or there about, HARPENDEN ? i base my comment on our match with them we were so far better and i honestly feel they are one of the poorer sides we have [played. Granted looking at results and time of goals they obviously dont know when they are beaten which is a great quality however 6 draws tells a story. But good luck to them . for me Colney and Ampthill will be close. Cranfield well we will see what happens, great start and some fantastic performances. Each game as it comes.
