Predictions for the Season in Div 1

I really dont think anyone can really assume facts about how strong or weak teams will be at this time of the season. I do know some of the predicted higher paced teams from information I am aware of are a lot weaker than you believe and hence will not be challenging at the top. I have also heard from good sources that if Tok Manor can fulfill fixtures etc they have a very good set of players and comfortably beat a few Combined Counties (Step 5 & 6) teams in pre season friendlies. The first 10 games or so will give a better picture. The odds on favourite for me to win the league are Kings Langley and they have not even been mentioned yet cheesy%20%282%29.gif

Agreed, it's just all speculation at the moment. We'll see how the Ampthill Mercenaries do when the seasons halfway through!!!

Not surprised Rob if there paying most players £40 a game

Is nobody giving kentish town a shout this season? Div 1, recently relegated. kept the decent playerS and added more pace to the side as well as a couple of experienced heads which were missing last season. good structure to the club now and definitely moving in the right direction.

I think Tik Tok have certainly surprised a few of us (except that one person with that vast fountain of knowledge). The guy Protein certainly knocking the goals in, personally I would have thought someone else would have snapped him up by now but according to my sources he is rumoured to be on £250 a week, which probably explains why no-one is interested in him.

 

Think the title looks set for one of four clubs, Cranfield, Ampthill, Tik Tok or Harpenden.

 

I will gladly settle for a mid-table finish for my club.
